Space and Rocket Center
You can’t visit Huntsville without checking out the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. It’s home to the world’s largest collection of rockets and space artifacts, including a full-size Saturn V rocket and the Apollo 16 capsule. Even if you’re not a space nerd, it’s fascinating to see how Huntsville played a big role in space exploration. There are interactive exhibits and a planetarium, so it’s fun for kids and adults alike.
Big Spring Park
Right in the heart of downtown, Big Spring Park is the perfect place to relax or take a walk. It’s surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and historic streets, so you can easily spend a few hours enjoying the scenery or grabbing a bite. Often local festivals will be in the park and you're in for a treat, this is Panoply weekend!
Panoply Music and Arts Festival
Our wedding weekend happens to align with one of Huntsville's biggest community festivals, Panoply. There’s music, art, food, and plenty of local culture to explore. Even if you’re just strolling through, it’s a fun way to soak up the city’s creative vibe.
