Blue Grass Airport (LEX)

LEX is the closest airport to our wedding venue, taking about a 30 minute drive. But, it tends to be pricier, as it is a smaller airport with fewer flights. Plus, you might run into UK fans.

Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF)

SDF is farther away, at about a 75 minute drive. It's larger than LEX and tends to have better prices and more flight options. It would also allow you to explore the home of Jesse's beloved Cardinals.

The Inn at Shaker Village features 72 rooms spread throughout 13 historic buildings. We have reserved all of the rooms in the 3 buildings located on the west side of the village. You can also call the number above if you prefer, just make sure to mention you are with our wedding. Please note that rooms are different - for example, some rooms have multiple beds while others have one. Make sure you book your room early to get an option which fits your needs.

Getting from Airport to Venue

If you are flying into either LEX or SDF, we recommend renting a car from the airport. This will also give you more mobility to explore Kentucky during the day. If you are interested in coordinating with others to split a rental car, we are happy to connect you with our other friends and family who will be flying in.
