Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. We ask that all guests please be seated no later than 4:15. You are welcome to arrive at the venue as early as 3:00 to mingle with other guests.
Our dress code is pretty laid back! You can wear anything you are comfortable in, as long as it is NOT white. We also ask that you do not wear lounge wear, pajamas, or bathing suits. Our ceremony, weather permitting, will be in a grassy area outdoors, so we would recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
YES! We ask all guests to please turn off their cell phones during the ceremony as sign of respect to all involved. We want all of our guests to celebrate with us and live in the moment without being distracted or risking a phone interrupting the ceremony. We promise that there will be hundreds of professional pictures of the ceremony, so you won't miss a thing by turning your phone off.
YES! There will be an open bar during both the cocktail hour and the reception. Mocktails and soft drinks will also be available. Please feel free to tip the bartenders! All guests will have to show ID before being served alcohol.
There is only one parking lot at the venue, so parking is limited; carpool if you can! There are a limited number of handicapped parking spots available. Please contact us if you need an accessible parking spot so that we can make arrangements with the venue in advance. There will be a shuttle for guests to take from the Holiday Inn to the wedding venue beginning at 3:00 pm. The last pre-ceremony shuttle will leave the Holiday Inn at 4:00 pm. A shuttle will also be available to take you back to the Holiday Inn beginning at 8:30 pm. The last return shuttle will leave the wedding venue at 11:00pm and bring you back to the Holiday Inn.
YES! Weather permitting, our ceremony is planned to be outside. Our guests will be seated in chairs in a grassy area. However, if weather interferes, our ceremony will be moved to the inside of the venue.
YES! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the same venue!
YES! We will have the traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table! If you would like to make cookies for the wedding, please reach out to us!
NO! Our wedding does not have an official end time! Music will have to stop at 10:30 p.m. due to local noise ordinances, but you are welcome to stay and hangout as long as you'd like!
