Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you guys! Ryan and I love Whidbey Island, and it was the location of our first "day trip" as a couple! He told me about spending summers there as a child, and I told him about pulling crab pots off the island's shores. It's a fitting place to host our wedding.

Little Red Hen Bakery

4 Front Street Northeast, Coupeville, WA 98239
, (360) 682-5809

Nice and close to our venue! They close at 3 pm, but if you arrive on the island early check out this spot for a sweet treat or fresh loaf of bread to take home.

Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve

Ebey's Landing Road, Coupeville, WA 98239
, (360) 678-6084

Take in the beautiful island views by walking the Bluff Trail.

Front Street Grill

20 Front Street Northwest, Coupeville, WA 98239
, (360) 682-2551

You haven't really had the Whidbey Island experience if you haven't had Penn Cove Muscles on Penn Cove.

Mukilteo Coffee Roasters

3228 Lake Leo Way, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 321-5262

Caffeine is always important.

Fort Casey State Park

1280 Engle Road, Coupeville, WA 98239
, (360) 678-4519

If you find yourself needing to kill time, check out the historic batteries at Fort Casey. One of Ryan and I's first dates (and our first day trip as a couple) was to this place! The Admiralty Head Lighthouse also makes for a great photo op.

Bayview Farmers Market

Bayview Road, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 321-4302

Ryan and I love Langley! Pick up some fresh produce and local gifts at either the Bayview Farmer's Market (Saturday) or, if you stay overnight, the South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market on Sunday.

Deception Pass Bridge

North Whidbey, Oak Harbor, WA 98277

If you drive around, be sure to stop at the bridge overlooking the ocean (or better yet, pack a lunch and eat at Deception Pass State Park).

Prima Bistro

201 1/2 1st Street, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 221-4060

It's best to make a reservation if you want to come here, but on a sunny day, their rooftop patio is one of my favorite places to be.

Bayview Farm and Garden

2780 Marshview Avenue, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 321-6789

If you visit the farmer's market, you may as well check out Bayview's garden shop and the Flower House Cafe, located on the same property, while you're at it.

The Braeburn Restaurant

197 Second Street, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 221-3211

Absolutely awesome brunch spot! I'm obsessed with their beautiful and colorful glassware.

Village Pizzeria

106 1st Street, Langley, WA 98260
, (360) 221-3363

Can you tell we love Langley? Come here for your pizza fix.

For all the days along the way
