Nice and close to our venue! They close at 3 pm, but if you arrive on the island early check out this spot for a sweet treat or fresh loaf of bread to take home.
Take in the beautiful island views by walking the Bluff Trail.
You haven't really had the Whidbey Island experience if you haven't had Penn Cove Muscles on Penn Cove.
Caffeine is always important.
If you find yourself needing to kill time, check out the historic batteries at Fort Casey. One of Ryan and I's first dates (and our first day trip as a couple) was to this place! The Admiralty Head Lighthouse also makes for a great photo op.
Ryan and I love Langley! Pick up some fresh produce and local gifts at either the Bayview Farmer's Market (Saturday) or, if you stay overnight, the South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market on Sunday.
If you drive around, be sure to stop at the bridge overlooking the ocean (or better yet, pack a lunch and eat at Deception Pass State Park).
It's best to make a reservation if you want to come here, but on a sunny day, their rooftop patio is one of my favorite places to be.
If you visit the farmer's market, you may as well check out Bayview's garden shop and the Flower House Cafe, located on the same property, while you're at it.
Absolutely awesome brunch spot! I'm obsessed with their beautiful and colorful glassware.
Can you tell we love Langley? Come here for your pizza fix.
