Sherifat and Koya have known each other since elementary school. In middle school the two were better known as KoFat, the singing and dancing duo that was sure to be in EVERY talent show at school. Sherifat currently lives in Metro Atlanta, working in the film industry as a writer, producer and director.
Amanda Thomas
Matron of Honor
Amanda and Koya attended Georgia Southern University where they pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Before that they were "Brothers" in the CoEd Honor Fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi. Amanda now lives in Dallas, Texas where she wears many hats. She is a Assistant Vice Principal of a middle school, active member of Delta Sigma Theta, a wife and a mother of twin boys (Koya's God children).

Adrion is "proudly" from Memphis Tennessee. Adrion and I have been best friends since freshman year of college at the University of Tennessee. The friendship almost didn't happen because he didn't know how to handle my blond hair. We were roommate for several year during and post college. He is an original member of the "March Madness Vegas Crew"! Here we are 20 years later and I'm his son's (Kai) GOD father.

Naketa and Koya attended Georgia Southern University where they both pledged Delta Sigma Theta. Naketa was also a "Brother" of the CoEd Honor Fraternity with Koya and Amanda (Matron of Honor). Over the years, Naketa and Koya's friendship has grown into a bond built on random road trips, a lavish lifestyle while unemployed, sleep overs, and spending time with each other's family. Naketa now lives in Kathleen, Georgia with her husband and working to shape the minds of high schoolers through science.

Christina and Koya pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority at Georgia Southern University. After college, Christina moved to Japan to teach English. She now lives in Atlanta, Georgia and has recently earned a PhD in Psychology.
"RT" Russell Maddox

RT is one of the very first people and friends that I met in college. We met on like day two or three and have been the best of friends ever since. We shared a common bond in Tennessee Football. RT and I once rode on the back of a pickup truck for two hours to his parents house in Rogersville, TN. That was a cold ride! Things college kids do. We had and have a lot in common, among them having blond hair was the main thing in college! RT and his wife Alicia was there with us in Hawai'i when I proposed!
Karon Ayers

Karon is my brother from another mother! I met Karon through his wife (Sharon) whom I also attended college with. She suggested we hang out because she thought we had a lot in common. Turns out we are the same person in different bodies. It took a while to hang out, but he's been my guy 100 grand over a decade now. Koya says that all of my friends are characters, this guy being the biggest one.

Like everyone else I roll with, I met Sanford through RT. This is another Tennessee Football brother! Sanford an I started hanging out and he had plenty of trouble for us to stay into. You never knew what was around the corner with this guy... like that one time when I was riding shotgun in his green Honda Accord when we were getting shot at as freshmen in college at Sonics. We've been riding dirty ever since. Needless to say, he's been one of the main friends every since. There is so much that can be said about this friendship, I can't type it all here!
