Island Rentals Golf Cart Tour
A must-do if you've never been to the island before. Great to take in all of Avalon in a quick and fun tour. Enjoy a one hour scenic route through the beautiful hills around Avalon, perfect for picturesque photo ops. Island Rentals Golf Cart Tour has a pre-planned 12 mile scenic route that may be completed in 1 hour. Who doesn't like to drive a golf cart?!
Descanso Beach Club
This beautiful cove and beach is located just beyond the Casino. It is one of the last private beaches in California with public access. The pristine water beckons, promising the best swim of your stay. The restaurant and bar are one of Taylor and Kourtney's favorite places on the island. Great food and beverages can be enjoyed with table service at Descanso Beach Club Restaurant, Catalina's only seaside restaurant, or delivered to your beach towel. Make it a point to order the islands signature drink, the infamous Buffalo Milk. YUM! Descanso Beach Club also offers high-end amenities such as private cabanas, chaise lounges and a gracious and attentive staff.
Catalina Island Museum
Take a couple hours out of your visit to learn about the history of this gorgeous island in the recently constructed museum offering the best in art and history exhibitions.
Wrigley Memorial and Botanic Garden
The Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden is a thirty-minute stroll up Avalon Canyon from town center. Or, take a quick ride by golf cart or bike, or by Garibalidi City Bus. The Botanic Garden is the primary gateway to access one of the Island's most popular hikes, the Garden to Sky Trail.
Zip Line Eco Tour
After shuttling to the top of the course, high in the hills near Avalon and descending through Descanso Canyon, you will pause at several eco-stations along the way before continuing on your journey. At each station, your hosts will give you a presentation on some of the unique and interesting aspects of Catalina Island, its wildlife, history, and the areas you are passing through.
