The Jacksonville airport is the closest airport at about 45 minutes away from the wedding venue. The next closest airport is the Orlando airport, which is 2 hours away.

Beach buggy rental (Jacksonville Beach area only)

This is FREE transportation in the Jax beach area (tipping drivers is recommended). You do need to download the app in order to request a "beach buggy", but this is a great cheaper option compared to Uber for bar/restaurant hopping.

Beach equipment rentals for our out-of-towners

This beach equipment rental place is right across the street from the Casa Marina. They also rent out certain things on the beach and/or deliver items. This includes: beach umbrellas, chairs, tables, bicycles, surfboards, skim boards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and kayaks, as well as other small beach necessities.

This is the venue location - where the ceremony and reception will both be held. Because this hotel is our venue, it is the most convenient place to stay, but definitely not the only option. Our hotel block of 10 rooms is under both of our last names (Kotziers & Korinth). Our guests will need to call to reserve rooms as it will say they are booked up online. Just mention either of our last names to receive the discounted wedding rate. Again, you must call to book a room in the hotel block & receive the discount; you cannot do this online. The wedding block is only guaranteed/reserved for the night of the wedding, however, you can get the wedding discount for your entire stay if you book for multiple days. Discounted prices per night: Parlor King Suite is $209, Parlor Queen Suite is $189, Deluxe Rooms is $139 +tax.

There are several hotels near the wedding venue. This is the closest hotel, which is directly next to the wedding venue (1-2 minute walk). We have a 10-room block for this hotel (which can be expanded if those rooms fill up) for the night of the wedding (03/20/2023). You can call them at (904) 222-0222 or use this discounted website link: https://be.synxis.com/?Hotel=31083&Chain=23717&group=1177083. The discounted rate is $269 per night for either a Deluxe Room King Bed Partial Ocean View with Balcony or Deluxe Room 2 Queen Beds Partial Ocean View with Balcony. If you need to book more than one night, I would call to make the reservation, since the website link only allows booking for the one night.

Note on travel at Jacksonville beach

Jax beach is very pedestrian and bicycle friendly. If you stay in the area near the venue, you will have plenty of local bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you want to go a little further, but stay in the Jax beach area, it is a bicycle-friendly area, so a bike rental is a great idea. Otherwise, if you are wanting to leave the immediate Jax beach area, a car is a necessity. Although Jacksonville is a city, it does not have a subway or trolley system. There is a public city bus, but it's not very consistent/reliable.
