FAQs

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, we would like for the 18th to be a kid free day for both ceremony and reception. However, kids are welcome at the lake day activities.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the morning ceremony is Garden Party/Formal. For the "reception" party at our house, we'd prefer the same, but if you want to get a tad more comfortable, we won't blame you. What is garden/party formal? Florals, patterns, and spring/summer colors. If you're wearing a dress we recommend tea or floor length. If your wearing a suit, we recommend ditching black and going for lighter colors. If the sun is cooking that day, men may be more comfortable in a suitless option. (See Pintrest link) Gals - don't be afraid of an opportune fashion moment if you find a super fun dress! (Please avoid white or Champagne) Here is a Pinterest board that may help with a visual: https://www.pinterest.com/kennakalways/wedding-guests/ AND at the end of the day - you know us, we're chill. Mckenna's not going going Bridezilla if you don't fit the picture we're painting.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotels: - The Moxy in Cherry Creek - In the heart of the Cherry Creek strip and 1 mile from the venue. - Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown-convention Center - Next to 16th Street Mall (outdoor strip & a Denver staple) Located in between the welcome party and wedding venue. 2 miles from venue. - Double Tree Aurora - This is between my house and the lake. If you'd like to be closer to those activities. - Air BnBs are also an option.

Question

Distance - How far is everything?

Answer

Everything is basically within a 30 minute drive of each other, give or take 5 minutes. Airport to venue, venue to my house, venue to lake, etc. On average the Uber price is about $25-$30 one way. Renting a car is another option.
