We first crossed paths at Old Time Pottery (OTP) in October of 2016. Danell was hard at work when I passed by him. He said hello, and I said hello in return. I didn't really see him because I was rushing to the rug section of the store. Danell told Mr. Earl about me, and Mr. Earl came and struck up a conversation with me. Towards the end of our exchange, he dropped Danell's name and told me that he was interested. Now let me remind you, I didn't get a good look at Danell when I walked in, so I told Mr. Earl that I'd come back and talk to him. A couple of weeks later, I returned to OTP. As I was checking out, I saw this tall, handsome man, with these adorable dimples and cute smile helping a customer and I was disappointed that I couldn't talk to him! Fortunately, Mr. Earl appeared in the parking lot like an angel as I was leaving and saved the day! I gave Mr. Earl my phone number and he gave it to Danell. A few days later, we briefly met at Starbucks and got to feel each other out face to face. I think we both were a little nervous, but we enjoyed a good conversation. A couple of days later, we went bowling on our first official date. Danell talked SO much trash about how he was going to win leading up to our date, but unfortunately for him, I won-both times! I laughed so hard, and he had me from that point on!
