This will be an outdoor ceremony. July in Iowa is generally hot, humid, and (hopefully) sunny! Attire suggestion is semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. For parking: upon entering, follow the signs to the "Double Round Barn" parking lot; this is where the reception will be! The outdoor amphitheater, where the ceremony will be, is in walking distance from this parking lot. Note: we'd like a phone-free ceremony, so we kindly ask you to not take any photos or videos yourself during the ceremony. Thank you!
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Please enjoy some snacks and drinks with us between the ceremony and reception! Expect a spread of sweet and salty goodies, an open bar, and indoor/outdoor games :)
6:00 pm - 11:30 pm
6:00pm - The wedding party will make their entrance in the reception barn and welcome guests with a few speeches! 6:30pm - Dinner will be buffet-style pizza from Maggie's Pizza Farm, a delicious and local spot! Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options will be available, but we will try our best to accommodate other dietary preferences. Dessert will be a spread of our favorite treats from a Andy's Pastry Shop, a local gluten-free/vegan bakery :) 8:00pm - Time to party! Music will be playing all night, but the official first dances will start around 8pm. Closing time is 11:30pm! No pressure to stay till then, but give us a hug before you depart (or Irish-goodbye. We're not Irish but we're also not judging). Disclaimer: it's hard to get Ella off the dance floor once she's on it. She'll likely make you dance with her before she lets you leave!
