Semi-Formal/Indian Attire Welcome
Sangeet is a pre-wedding celebration deeply rooted in South Asian culture, particularly in Indian weddings. Occurring a day before the wedding, our Sangeet will be a colorful evening of cocktails, music, heavy appetizers and (hopefully) dance performances by family and friends - so be ready to dance! For the Sangeet, we encourage guests to wear outfits that are bright and bold and don’t be afraid to accessorize or wear some fresh kicks.

Please read our FAQ on the website to learn about the Baraat & Wedding Ceremony. The Baraat will be outside on the promenade of the hotel, so please be prepared for heat and sun! The Wedding Ceremony will be indoors in a ballroom. The attire for the Wedding Ceremony is formal/Indian attire welcome, but please avoid red as the bride will be in that color. The Groom will be wearing an off-white/cream Sherwani – as always, fresh kicks are encouraged. The Baraat will start at 2pm with John and his friends and family riding on the Baltimore Water Taxi into the Harbor to dance and celebrate while enjoying some of the best views of downtown Baltimore. They will return around 2:50 to the dock that is right outside of the hotel's main entrance. From there, everyone else is invited to join as we will continue the festivities dancing north along the Promenade between the water and the hotel.
