Maid of Honor
"The Zoo! The Huskers! The midwest! To straddle the border between Iowa and Nebraska! The varieties of popcorn! But mostly I’m excited because Emily Barker is my favorite person in the world and I want to be wherever she is on this special day."

"I'm excited to go to Omaha and finally see the place where so many incredible inventions have come from. The bobby pin, cake mix, and raisin bran! I also really can't wait to celebrate the beautiful love between two of my favorite people."

"The best part of Omaha is being so close to Memorial Stadium and the Huskers."

"Fresh air and Ted and Wally's ice cream everyday, at least once a day!! But mostly I'm excited to witness the union between two of my favorite people, whose love inspires me."

"All of the amazing vegan food options! We are so lucky to be able to choose from so many delicious places! Lalibela, Modern Love, Fauxmaha, Oasis Falafel, Amateur Coffee, Crystal Jade, and Brick Oven pizzeria are some of my favorites!"

"I've been looking for a way to pay off my student loans, so I figured I would hang out at Dairy Queen and try to become besties with Warren Buffett. Oh, and I guess I'd like to see what all the hype is about in this city that stole my best friend after college! Can't wait to be a part of this special day!"

“ A few years ago I drove four hours while on a business trip from Kansa City just to meet up with Cameron in Omaha to have dinner, I’m excited to finally get the chance to spend more than 3 hours in the city he calls home. Also it wouldn’t hurt if I cross paths with Warren Buffet and got some stock tips, maybe I’ll hit up a Dairy Queen or two with the other Christine.”

“I’ve been to Omaha four times to visit Em and Cam and let me say it’s always an adventure! Who doesn’t love hours of driving through nothing and insane weather?! But actually make sure to check out the world’s most amazing board game cafe, the museum with talking statues, the many movie theaters, and the slides!!”

"Why visit Omaha? Well after Emily sending me many videos of the new elephant arrivals at the Omaha Zoo many years ago, I can finally see them! Then I’ll explore some of the flattest landscape and enter the largest indoor rainforest in the world! Did you also know that the corned beef rueben was invented there? What better a time than before a wedding to pay homage to a delicious sandwich. Overall there really isn’t a reason that’s not calling me to spend a few days in Omaha. A wedding of two of my favorite people is of course just icing on the cake (literally, that’s going to be delicious!) for what’s sure to be an amazing weekend!"

"Why am I excited to come to Omaha for the wedding? Well, there are a few reasons. (1) I really love these people, and it's been an eternity since we reunited. (2) I will get to sing Omaha by the Counting Crows for my entire trip, and no one will be allowed to get annoyed by it since it will be geographically appropriate. (3) I'm assuming there will be cake."

"Last time I went to Nebraska, Emily and Cameron sent me home with a mug that said “Nebraska! It’s not that bad!” so it must be true! If all else fails you can drink enough corn whiskey you won’t even remember you were there! Please come :)"

"I'm excited to talk to an uber driver about pheasant hunting!"
