Dressy--think semi-formal! Be sure to dress so you're comfortable for a night of dancing!
Great question! We've decided our ceremony at the church will be unplugged, so that you, our guests, can be fully present and not worrying about getting the perfect shot (we'll let our photographer take care of that!). As soon as the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like. When you post them on social media, don't forget to use our hashtag: #EveryKissBeginsWithKoenig.
Our venue only allows a specific number of people, so we will only be able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Feel free to email us if you have any questions!
We've taken a lot of time to think about this and have decided the only people under 18 that will be invited to our reception will be our first cousins! Other kids are welcome to the church ceremony, but will need to stay at home for the rest of the evening! We are working on finding babysitters for the kids of our out of town guests. Please let us know if this is something you'll need help with!
As of right now, we are continuing to move forward with our wedding plans as if we will be able to celebrate as we imagined before the coronavirus pandemic impacted the US. However, we are taking the coronavirus very seriously and one of our biggest priorities is making sure that our guests feel safe enough to enjoy themselves on our big day. We strongly recommend that you only attend our big day if you have been vaccinated.
Free parking is available in the University of Nebraska Medical Center Yellow Parking garage which is located at 4111 Harney St (between 41st St. and 42nd St. on Harney St.). This is likely the easiest and closest option for parking, but you are also welcome to park in any of the paid/unpaid lots in the Blackstone Neighborhood or in metered street parking.
