Where are you getting married?

We decided to get married here in Valley View, Texas! We found a beautiful barn venue for the big day! Whispering Oaks Wedding Venue 910 Red Top Rd. Valley, TX 76272

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

The earlier, the better! So, as soon as possible but please be sure to RSVP before September 3rd so we can do a headcount for the caterer.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would like to be able to accommodate everyone, we want to keep the event somewhat small and intimate with our closest loved ones. We have specified in individual invitations for plus ones.

Dietary restrictions

Answer

We will be having a vegetarian option so please be sure to mark your meal preference on the online RSVP so that we can let the caterer know how many will be utilizing that option.

What should I wear?

Answer

Just normal wedding attire. You don't have to rent a tux or wear a ballgown. Let's say, semi-formal. So not jeans, but not a tux. Anywhere in between is perfect.

Indoor or Outdoors?

Answer

Both! Weather permitting we will be having the ceremony outdoors right outside of the reception area which will be indoors. October in Texas is not like Minnesota.. Oct 2020 stayed mostly in the 70's but some days got up to 90° and a few rainy days that got down to 60°. Hopefully it won't be that hot or that chilly but your guess is as good as mine.

Is the Venue Wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The walking path is concrete and there are no stairs. Our Usher's will be there to help with a spot at the ceremony if needed as well.

Photos/Social Media

Answer

At the ceremony we ask that you don't take pictures or video's. We have a photographer and we would love to see your beautiful faces in the pictures instead of your devices. After the ceremony, take and post until your heart is content!
