Passport & ETA

You will need a passport to travel to the UK. They can take up to 10 weeks including processing and mailing timelines. Don't wait till the last minute! ----- In addition to a passport, the UK requires an Electronic Travel Authorization for each traveler. The cost is about $15 per person and takes about a week to come through but is good for up to 2 years, so we recommend going ahead and taking care of it now.

Flight

Airports

Flights from Texas will have a layover - usually in London. We recommend flying to Aberdeen (about 45 min from the venue). If you plan to extend your stay, Edinburgh airport is about 2.5 hours away by car or train. We do not recommend flying into London and making the drive unless you want a scenic road trip -- it's about 9 hours away!

Hotels

We have not set up hotel blocks in the area - but if you reach out to the bride and groom, we'd be happy to make some recommendations. In general, you'd be good within the towns of Old Meldrum, Inverurie, or Pitcaple. Aberdeen is the nearest major city and is about 45 minutes from the venue.
