Why Scotland?

Answer

Nathan made a very sweet declaration very early on in the planning process while Kyleigh was super overwhelmed - "For all I care, we could get married in our own backyard with 5 guests or we could do it at a castle in Scotland!". The idea stuck and subsequent conversations led to finding the perfect venue at Logie.

Is Nathan going to wear a kilt?

Answer

Probably at some point while we're in Scotland, but he has opted for a traditional suit for the actual wedding.

Are we all staying in the castle?

Answer

We have invited our immediate family and wedding party to stay in castle lodging - which fills almost every bed, couch, and cot. As we get RSVPs, we may extend the invitation to others. We are asking folks who stay the 2 nights at Logie with us to contribute $300 per household to help us cover the expenses. You can make the contribution via the registry page or by reaching out to Kyleigh.

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

Yes, please! Kids bring all the right kinds of joy to celebrations like this. We hope you can add a couple days onto your trip and make a nice family holiday out of it, too!

Answer

Kyleigh will be keeping her maiden name, because feminism. And also, at 35, who wants to learn a new signature? If you're looking for an easy way to address envelopes (we have 3 different last names in our household), feel free to use just our first names, "KLN", or "Their Royal Highnesses".
