Tying the Knot

At the end of freshman year of high school (2006), Kyleigh's friend gave her his number - which turned out to be Nathan's instead! She called and "met" Nathan over the phone - they talked for hours getting to know each other. After dating off and on for most of high school, the couple went their separate ways for a little while. Kyleigh got married, had Luna, and then got divorced before they found their way back together in 2013. Nathan adored toddler Luna right away! Nathan, Luna, & Kyleigh have lived together since 2015. After 11 years together, Nathan proposed to Kyleigh at an HEB in Mexia, on the way to Kyleigh's annual family reunion. He enlisted Luna, Kyleigh's mom & grandma, and the whole HEB staff to surprise her with personalized Coke bottles on the shelves, before getting down on bended knee in the floral department.
