Matron of Honor
Nick and I hit the friendship lottery when we moved across the hall from Vanessa and Dylan in Charlotte. From game nights to Sunday fundays to beach vacations, they’ve become family. We’ve shared so many milestones: adopting Bettis, getting engaged, and celebrating the arrival of their son, Ryan. Vanessa has been a constant source of love and support and has made our time in Charlotte one of the most meaningful phases of our lives. She’s the most amazing mom to Ryan, and I’m so excited to watch our families grow together.
Maid of Honor
Natalie and I met in kindergarten, and we’ve truly grown up together. From elementary school playdates to navigating middle and high school to surviving grad school, she’s been by my side through it all. Having been with me for every other chapter, it only makes sense for her to stand with me on this special day. She’s an extension of the Klein family and one of my oldest and closest friends. It’s rare to have a friend who’s shared so much of your life, and I feel incredibly lucky to share this next milestone with her.
Bridesmaid
Amanda is Nicholas’s sister, and I met her when I first met Nicholas (so, sometime in 2010, lol). She moved to Charlotte shortly after we did, and it’s been such a fun journey to be on together. Amanda has this way of showing up for the people she loves, whether it’s remembering the little things or planning something thoughtful. I don’t have a sister of my own, but Amanda has been that for me in every way that counts, and I’m so grateful to (officially) call her mine.
Bridesmaid
Jill and I met late in college and stayed close through grad school, eventually moving in together and tackling our first “big-girl” jobs the best way we knew how: hosting girls’ nights and laughing over glasses of wine. The Carnegie townhouse era is one of my favorite chapters so far, and I’m so grateful to have had Jill with me through it all. She’s one of my go-to confidants, whether I need real advice or just someone to complain to. She’s a new mama to baby Mara, and I can’t wait to navigate our new journeys together.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my cousin, but she’s always felt like a sister to me. Lauren, Lindsey, & I grew up side by side, making memories that still make us laugh. She’s hilarious, gives the most thoughtful gifts, and is always up for an adventure. Having her in my wedding feels like a natural extension of the bond we share. I’m so excited for the adventures ahead, and grateful to have her by my side as we celebrate this new chapter together.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey is also my cousin, but like Lauren, growing up, she was more like a sister. We spent countless afternoons creating (cute, terrible) dance routines and begging our moms for sleepovers. She’s not just my favorite hairstylist but also my travel partner in crime. Lindsey has always been more than a cousin; she’s one of my closest friends and the truest sister I could have asked for growing up. Sharing this day with her makes it all the more special.
Bridesmaid
Gina is Nicholas's cousin, and we met when Nicholas and I (re)started dating. Before I even met her, he said we’d get along great, and much to his dismay, he was totally right. Gina’s energy lights up every room, and fun radiates off her. We’ve shared more laugh-until-we-cry moments than I can count, and I feel so lucky to be turning one of my closest friends into family. I’m beyond thankful for our relationship and couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I met on my very first day at my first job in Charlotte. She took me to lunch that afternoon, and the rest is history! Since then, she’s been my partner in everything. Whether we’re at a concert, hanging by the pool, or just doing everyday things, Taylor makes everything more fun. Her humor, energy, and constant support make every day brighter, and my life in Charlotte wouldn’t be the same without her. I’m so thankful she’s part of my life and this special day.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I became fast friends after moving to Charlotte, and I’m so grateful life brought us together. She’s engaged to Austin, who played college baseball with Nicholas. The four of us have shared so many memories, and I couldn’t be happier to have Austin and Amanda with us on this journey. We got engaged within a few months of each other, and it’s been so fun to share this wedding experience together. Amanda is one of the most genuine souls I’ve ever met, and I feel so lucky to have her by my side.
Best Man
Ronnie is my older brother and best man. We’ve been best friends our whole lives, and even as we’ve built our own families and careers, that’s never changed. We talk almost every day about life, work, or whatever project one of us is trying to figure out, constantly trading advice, ideas, or just keeping each other grounded. Ronnie’s a proud dad of three (soon to be four), and somehow still finds the time to check in or talk baseball. I’m lucky to have him as my brother and even luckier to have him standing next to me on this day.
Groomsman
Brendan and I first met through travel baseball, and he quickly became not just my best friend but part of the family. From late-night Pirates games with all the baseball dads to hours spent just hanging out after practice. Even though we went to different schools growing up, we were basically inseparable, and that hasn’t changed much since. We lived together for years after college, first in South Side and then in his family home, a very full-circle moment. Brendan has been with me through every phase of life, and I’m lucky to have him here for this one.
Groomsman
Anthony, better known as “D-Tell,” has been my friend since kindergarten, but our bond really took off in high school. Over the years, he’s become one of my closest and most trusted friends, and someone I know I can always call for anything. We’ve shared a lot of life together, and he’s the kind of friend who keeps things interesting, whether it’s debating the most random topics, causing chaos in Mario Kart, or just showing up when it counts. D-Tell has been a part of the family for as long as I can remember, and I’m lucky to have him standing here with me today.
Groomsman
Cody and I became close friends at Niagara University, where we were teammates and roommates. Our friendship grew over the years, fueled by late nights and last-minute Taco Bell runs before heading out for games. Cody’s the guy who always pushes me to step outside my comfort zone. If it weren’t for him, I probably wouldn’t have discovered how great Charlotte is, the city we now both call home. More than anything, Cody’s been a great friend in every phase so far, and I’m lucky to have him standing with me on this day.
Groomsman
Easton is Miranda’s youngest brother, and in a lot of ways, we grew up together. Like the rest of us, he grew up surrounded by competition, whether it was wiffle ball in the yard or a heated game of corn hole. Watching him take that same drive from those summer games to a professional baseball career has been really special. I’m proud to call him a friend and even prouder to have him as a brother.
Groomsman
Tanner is Miranda’s (older) younger brother, and we all met that same summer. Our families have always been close, and some of my favorite memories are from those summers spent at Pap’s pool, on the baseball field, or making fun of Scott and Rick on one of our classic Outer Banks vacations. Tanner’s been part of those memories from the start, and I’m so grateful to officially have him as a brother.
Groomsman
Austin and I first became friends as college teammates at Niagara, with our bond starting on the baseball field and growing over countless intense games of NHL at his place. Austin’s got a heart of gold and a knack for finding himself in situations only Austin could end up in, and somehow always coming out laughing. Now that he and his fiancée, Amanda, live in Charlotte with us, they’ve become a constant in our lives, and I’m grateful to have him in my life today and every day.
Groomsman
Dylan and his wife Vanessa became fast friends from the very first day we met. His introduction in our apartment hallway: “Do you golf?” quickly followed by “Do you watch football?” pretty much set the tone for our friendship. Since then, we’ve shared countless game nights, which usually end with the girls asleep by 10 p.m. while Dylan and I stay up playing video games. Even though we’ve only known Dylan and Vanessa since moving to Charlotte, it feels like they’ve been part of our lives forever.
