The bride’s best friend from the time they met on the first day of kindergarten. From sleepovers, family vacations, moves to different cities, and everything in between, Hannah has been by her side through it all. After Hannah’s mom became Madeline’s babysitter, her house quickly became Madeline’s second home—so much so that she was there nearly every day until she could drive (and let’s be honest, even after that). If you scroll through any of Madeline’s childhood family photos, don’t be surprised if you spot Hannah in most of them. Fun fact: Madeline and Hannah were so inseparable growing up that in elementary school they had matching "best friend" T-shirts that they wore every Wednesday.

Madeline's childhood best friend & mom of the flower girl, Elsie! Tara & Madeline have been best friends for nearly 22 years. Tara, her husband, Tyler, & Elsie spent a week with Madeline & Sean in Rhode Island. They drove Ocean Drive, in near silence, for an hour to get a nap in for Elsie. Madeline pointed out the area of their now venue, commenting about them returning soon for a wedding. (Engagement happened 6 months after). Fun fact: Tara & Madeline have their Segway licenses in the state of Florida.

Madeline’s college best friend, sorority sister, and former roommate. They were inseparable from the first week of freshman year at UT—splitting time between each other’s dorms and logging countless hours together at Hodge’s library as science majors. Later, they became true roommates in Chattanooga, where Kay was there for one of the most important moments—when Madeline first met Sean. Fun fact: Madeline and Kay met on the very first day of freshman year when Mads accidentally walked into the wrong math class. It was fate—instant best friends. And six years later, Kay played a role in introducing Sean and Madeline. Imagine if Mads had made it to the right math class... Invisible string theory, am I right?

Foster Slagle

Madeline and Foster became best friends during their freshman year at UT and never looked back. Their friendship only deepened when Foster moved to Chattanooga in 2021 for Teach for America—conveniently Madeline’s hometown—and the two became roommates. Together, they tackled their first taste of real adult life: Madeline’s first year as a nurse, Foster’s first year as a teacher, and a whole lot of late-night laughs. Fun fact: The night Sean and Madeline officially started dating, Mads came home and celebrated the big moment the best way she and Fos know how—by baking cookies from scratch, just like they always did.

Erica Woolen

Bridesmaid

One of Madeline’s favorite people—who also happens to be dating the Best Man. Erica and Mads are pros at the art of the double date, especially when they end with espresso martinis and Roscoe cuddles. Fun fact: The first time they really spent time together was on a weekend in New Hampshire with the Stone brothers—just a week after Madeline moved to New England. A night by the fire with margaritas ended with the girls announcing to the brothers that Erica would one day be Madeline’s bridesmaid. Called it early.

Justin Stone

Best Man

Sean’s younger brother, best man, and truly his very best friend. Growing up, Sean played the classic older-brother role—always finding new ways to torment Justin. On Madeline’s first trip to visit Sean, she met Justin, who immediately started sharing stories from their childhood—leaving her a little uneasy about what she might be walking into. But once Sean left for college, the two brothers grew incredibly close, and they now talk constantly. Justin is also the world’s best uncle to Roscoe (who agrees wholeheartedly). Madeline couldn’t be happier to finally have a brother. Fun fact: When Justin was born, Sean was just four years old—and got the honor of naming him after his favorite Power Ranger.

Sean’s best friend and partner in crime since childhood. The two spent countless hours at Sean’s house, usually at Justin’s expense—terrorizing the younger brother any chance they got. Over the years, “Frenchie”—Dad to Sophia and Ava (Madeline’s junior bridesmaids)—has embraced his typical dad role as the group’s grill master, taking charge at nearly every gathering hosted by Sean and Madeline. Fun fact: One Thanksgiving Eve, Madeline put her nursing skills to use by starting an IV for Brandon to help him rehydrate.

Zachary Hoyle

Groomsman

One of Sean’s best friends since the age of four, and later his roommate in Weymouth. Zach is Sean’s “surf sensei,” the one who first got him on a board and out on the water. Always up for an adventure, Zach has spent countless winters driving Sean and Madeline to the mountain in his trusty Toyota, and summers canoeing, surfing, and fishing with them. To Madeline’s surprise, some of those fresh catches even ended up cooked in her kitchen—and to her relief, they tasted delicious. Fun fact: Zach was there for two of Sean’s biggest introductions in life—meeting both Madeline and Roscoe— in Chattanooga on their road trip together.

Matthew Consigli

Sean and Matthew first met at Becker College, where they bonded on the baseball field. After graduation, their friendship carried into the working world when both landed at Oracle, and they’ve stayed close ever since. Madeline first met Matt on her initial trip to visit Sean in Boston in July 2021 at a bowling party near Fenway. Fun fact: Matt is the reason behind Sean and Madeline’s very first social media post together. That Boston night out, he insisted Madeline post a selfie of the three of them—and the rest is history. His dog, Chico, and Roscoe also share a… complicated relationship as long-time frenemies.

Ryan Petrone

Groomsman

Sean met Ryan at 14 through AAU baseball, and their friendship has been going strong ever since. Sean stood beside him as a groomsman at his wedding, and over the years they’ve shared more than a few wild adventures—most memorably a Vegas trip with friends, Deven and Ollie, that somehow ended with them at an NBA Finals afterparty for the Lakers. Madeline first met Ryan (and his now-wife, Mary) just a month after moving to Massachusetts during a night out to a Jason Aldean concert. Fun fact: Ryan now knows Madeline’s Taco Bell order by heart—thanks to the time Sean accidentally ordered her quesadilla as… just a tortilla.

Deven Davies

Groomsman

Sean’s former Weymouth roommate who has since relocated to Philadelphia with his girlfriend, Olivia. These days, he’s one of Madeline and Sean’s favorite house guests—always ready for a weekend of good food, laughs, and plenty of TV show binges. During one visit, he even (though somewhat unwillingly) powered through nearly the entire 'Scandoval' season of Vanderpump Rules with Madeline, proving his loyalty as a guest. Fun fact: Madeline actually met Deven and Olivia during her very first trip to Boston—three months before she met Sean.

Nick Quitzau

One of Sean’s childhood friends, Nick has been around since middle school. Over the years their friendship has spanned plenty of adventures—including a trip Sean once took with their crew to visit Nick in Pittsburgh, where he now lives with his fiancée, Lauren (newly engaged!). Fun fact: Nick has become a Thanksgiving Eve regular at Sean and Madeline’s. While most of the group begged for a new playlist, he was the only one to back Madeline’s relentless, 27-time-in-a-row replay of Pink Pony Club.

Jamison Lobisser

Groomsman

One of Sean’s childhood friends, Jami and Sean first met in middle school and quickly formed a close bond. They were always each other’s biggest fans, cheering one another on in their respective sports. From grade school sleepovers to college visits and ski trips, they’ve shared countless memories over the years. Today, their friendship remains as strong as ever, with their favorite tradition being the annual boys’ golf trip. Fun fact: When they were kids, Jami and Sean once reeled in a snapping turtle while fishing with friends—and it nearly took a bite at them.

A man of many hobbies—Matthew 'Mudslyde' McGillivray is always down for an adventure (and thankfully shares his location with the couple, because they truly never know where he’ll end up). He was there for the infamous road trip where Sean first met Madeline, making him part of their story from the very beginning. A steadfast supporter of their relationship and a wise, thoughtful speaker, Sean and Madeline are overjoyed to have him officiate their wedding.
