As much as we adore your little ones, we are only able to accommodate a limited number of guests at our venue. With the exception of family members who are a part of the wedding party (as specified on invitation), our celebration will be an adults-only event. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, enjoy a night out, and celebrate with us! We appreciate your understanding.
Your invitation will specify if a guest is included. If your invitation is addressed to you “and Guest,” we ask for you to RSVP with your guest’s name and meal selection so we can plan accordingly. If your invitation does not mention a guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo and enjoy celebrating with friends and family at the wedding!
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, and cocktail hour will be outdoors under a tent, with the option to cool off inside in comfortable seating areas if needed. The reception will follow indoors. We’re crossing our fingers for that perfect New England July breeze, but weather can be unpredictable—please stay hydrated and dress accordingly. We’ll have paper fans available, and in the event of heavy rain or poor weather, we have a beautiful indoor backup space.
Black Tie Optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark suits, and ladies may choose long gowns or cocktail dresses in elegant summer styles. We’d love for you to dress up and celebrate in style, while keeping in mind the coastal setting. All colors welcome, except maybe white. ;) For more info, check out this link. https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698
Although the ceremony starts at 5:30, we recommend that guests arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the start time. Newport traffic will likely be heavy during the peak season, so we recommend factoring in an extra 10-15 minutes to your drive.
There is free parking available on-site for guests who are within driving distance and wish to do so.
Newport is especially popular in the summer, and with several events happening during our wedding weekend, accommodations can be a bit tricky. We’ve reserved a limited number of hotel blocks at a few local hotels, which can be found on our Travel page. Please note these blocks require a two-night minimum stay (Thursday & Friday night). For those in our hotel blocks, transportation to and from the venue will be provided. If you’re traveling from out of town and would like to extend your stay, we encourage you to make a vacation out of it! Airbnb and Vrbo offer wonderful options in the area. We also recommend looking in Narragansett and surrounding towns, which are about a 20–30 minute drive from the venue. We encourage you to secure accommodations early, as Newport is especially busy during the summer season. We’re so grateful you’ll be celebrating with us and will do everything we can to make your travel as seamless as possible.
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
The closest airport to Newport is T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Providence, about a 40-minute drive from the venue. For those coming from farther away, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is also a great option and about 1.5 hours by car.
July in Newport is warm and breezy, with daytime highs typically in the 70s–80s. Evenings by the water can get cooler, so we suggest bringing a light layer. Fingers crossed for sunshine and perfect coastal weather!
If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We will gladly make accommodations so everyone can enjoy the meal.
Absolutely—we’ll be celebrating with signature cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits at the bar throughout the evening.
Our bridesmaids will be wearing sky blue, so if you’re worried about matching, you may want to choose another shade. Bright, summery colors are encouraged, and as long as you stay within the Black Tie Optional dress code, feel free to wear what makes you feel your best—we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and celebrating!
