The Great Northern Hotel in Mercer overlooks Lake San Domingo and is about 15 minutes from our ceremony and reception site. Mercer is known for the natural beauty of its surroundings and as the “Loon Capital of the World”! While you aren’t out and about exploring or celebrating with us, you can enjoy the fishing pier, paddle boats, and canoes at the resort, or adventure out to the many waterfalls and scenic rivers for hiking, canoeing and photography. The hotel also features a hot tub, game room and Wolf’s Den Bar & Grill. We will have convenient shuttle service to and from the ceremony and reception site the afternoon and evening of the wedding. The Lodge at Manitowish Waters

We recommend booking soon, as local spots tend to fill up quickly in the Northwoods. The Lodge is located in Manitowish Waters, about 7 minutes from the ceremony + reception. The Lodge is furnished with handsome Northwoods décor and includes relaxing patios and comfortable gathering areas that overlook the beautifully manicured grounds. Guests receive discounted day passes at The Manitowish Waters Athletic Club (The MAC) with a pool, sauna and hot tub. The Lodge is just steps away from beautiful lakes, paved bike trails, great restaurants, unique shops, a spa and more. The Lodge will also be a pick-up/drop-off site for the Great Northern Hotel shuttle bus during the afternoon and evening of the wedding. We have a block of rooms reserved for the wedding. The Concord Inn is located in the bustling town of Minocqua, about 26 minutes from the ceremony + reception. While this hotel is a bit farther away, you will enjoy staying at this cozy hotel overlooking Lake Minocqua. Situated in downtown Minocqua on Highway 51 and across from Torpy Park, the Concord Inn makes it easy to experience all the area has to offer. Just a short walk away from the hotel is the Bearskin State Trail along Bearskin Creek, offering multiple fishing, hunting, hiking and biking options. The hotel is also just a stroll away from many downtown shops, bars and restaurants. We will have a shuttle service to and from the ceremony and reception site the afternoon and evening of the wedding. We have a block of rooms reserved for the wedding. Club 51 Lodge

Formerly known as the Cranberry Lodge, Club 51 is now owned by the Great Northern Hotel in Mercer. This is a small, 9 room motel located right on Highway 51. It is pet-friendly. Reservations can be made online or by calling 715-776-0144. The Great Northern Hotel shuttle bus will also be able to pick up and drop off at Club 51 Lodge. If interested, please sign-up for the shuttle when you check-in.
