Please plan to arrive no later than 3:45 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.
We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than Monday, July 14th.
We appreciate you understanding that we’re limiting our guest list due to venue capacity. We’re only able to invite the guests named on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
We encourage everyone to dress in formal attire. Think suits or jackets/slacks for men and cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits for women. We’ll be outdoors for the ceremony and cocktail hour, so we recommend shoes that are grass and poolside-friendly.

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing will all be at the same beautiful venue, so once you’re there, you can relax and enjoy the entire evening.
We’re hosting a casual, open-house-style buffet brunch the morning after the wedding from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at Chippewa Resort Poolside Cabana (same place as the wedding!). Come as you are—whether that’s in your comfiest travel clothes or lakeside loungewear. Coffee, good food, and a chance to re-live the night before with us and your fellow guests. Feel comfortable staying as short or as long as you like. And if you’d like to swim, bring your swimsuit and take a dip! Please RSVP on the website.
Usually lovely! Expect highs in the 70s–80s during the day, with cooler evenings. That said, weather loves to keep us on our toes, so check the forecast before you pack.
Yes, bring the whole crew! Children should be included in your wedding invitation already so please RSVP for them as well. The wedding venue is on a lake and the cocktail reception will be by the pool, so please ensure your children are supervised at all times.
Yes! We’re providing shuttle buses to transport guests to and from the hotel and the ceremony site. We highly encourage everyone to take advantage of the shuttles—especially in the evening. The roads/highways in the area can be quite dark at night, and there’s always a chance of deer crossing. Plus, if you're planning to enjoy a drink with us, the shuttle is a safe and easy way to get back without having to worry about driving. The shuttles will run before the ceremony and return guests to the hotel afterward, so you can fully relax and enjoy the celebration. Let’s all have a great time—and leave the driving to someone else! For those staying at the Great Northern Hotel in Mercer and The Lodge in Manitowish Waters, we will have a shuttle bus that starts from the Great Northern Hotel and then make a stop to pick guests up at The Lodge on the way to the venue. We are tentatively planning to have the shuttle run 2-3 times prior to the wedding, starting at about 2:45 pm with the goal of getting all guests to the venue by 3:45 pm. The wedding begins at 4:00 pm. The shuttle will then be available to take people back to the hotels beginning at 9:00 pm and going on-the-hour (10:00, 11:00) until the reception ends at 12:00 midnight. As we get further confirmation on how many guests are staying at each hotel, we have flexibility to adjust times or add more shuttles as needed. If you are interested in taking the shuttle, please sign up when you check in to the hotel. For those staying at The Waters and the Best Western Plus Concord Inn in Minocqua, we will have a Lakeland Party Bus that picks up at the hotels and returns guests after the reception. Times will be similar as above. If you are interested in taking the shuttle, please sign up when you check in to the hotel. If you decide to drive to the ceremony, there is ample, complementary parking at Chippewa Retreat.
We’d love for you to be present during the ceremony, so we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. After that, feel free to snap and share (and don’t forget to tag us!).
If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know when you RSVP. We’ll make sure there’s something delicious for you to enjoy.
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any outside alcohol to the event, as our venue has a strict policy. Rest assured, we’ll have plenty of delicious drinks available for you to enjoy! Have any questions that are not listed here? Reach out to Caroline (920-228-0376) or Kevin (920-419-5462), and we’ll be happy to help! We can’t wait to celebrate with you on the lake!
