Maid of Honor
Kaylee is Alex's college roommate turned best friend. Not only have Kaylee and Alex lived together 4 out of the last 8 years they've lived in Austin but Kaylee also lived with Matt & Alex for almost a year and now lives 3 doors away. We chose to be roommates because we both loved the Pats and decided to ditch the cold north for sunny Austin to go to The University of Texas, becoming roommates was the best decision we ever made. Although Matt is the love of Alex's life, Kaylee will forever be her person. Kaylee has been through it all with Alex these past 8 years, now she'll be next to her at the alter too.
Best Man
Colin and I have been friends for years, dating all the way back to our days working together at the Westin. Even though we went our separate ways for work, we've always kept in touch and have maintained our friendship. From our love of beer, and all things sports, Colin and I can joke about every bad decision we've ever made along the way.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Alex have been friends since middle school - but were also in brownies together as children - and continued being friends even after Rachel moved to Florida with her family during their sophomore year of high school. Although we are notoriously bad at calling each other Rachel is always there for Alex's big moments and vice versa. Many trips have been made between Austin and Florida to visit for graduation, birthdays, and just to hangout - distance has nothing on this friendship. It's only natural that she is by Alex's side as she marries the love of her life.
Groomsman
Eric and I have a shared passion for baseball, drinking beer at Workhorse, and busting an absolute chill. From playing fantasy sports together to getting far more intense while playing NHL online, Eric and I have a lot in common. Out of all of my Groomsmen, only one has given me Guitar Hero on PS2.
Bridesmaid
Alex met Christina after graduating from The University of Texas in 2016 and they instantly became friends. Their friendship grew initially through what Alex calls Christina's "violent friendship-making abilities" which include, but are not limited to, multiple invitations to brunch, following every social media account you have, and ranking our celebrity crushes. For someone who struggles to make friends quickly, Alex appreciated the effort and started to return the constant invites to brunch, drinks, coffee, or to have a movie night. Now four years later Alex is Christina's Maid of Honor and Christina is a forever friend that Alex can't picture a life without.
Groomsman
Dawson and I met at a New Years' eve party, and have continued to be awkward together ever since. From sending memes back and forth, to games of golf that I need to agree to more, we've always been friends who are equally bad at fantasy sports.
Bridesmaid
Jenna and Alex met at Plucker's where they both worked during their time at The University of Texas. A work friendship grew to the point where inviting Alex or Jenna to a party meant the other would also be attending. Even after Jenna moved to North Carolina for grad school her and Alex have stayed close - with Alex even making a visit to NC and Jenna interrogating Matt via skype when Alex and Matt first started dating. Jenna was the first person Alex told about her first date with Matt so it's only right that she joins us on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Trevor and I love to cook. From talking about new recipes we've tried, to sharing YouTube cooking channels we should watch, Trevor and I can talk for hours and we usually do, at the expense of other less important non-cooking related conversations. A man who moved to Colorado, and loves it as much as I did, is always someone who will be important to me.
At Home Flower "Girl"
Large groups of people make Quinn stressed and she definitely would not cooperate going down the aisle so she won't be attending the wedding in person but she'll still be our flower "girl" from home.
Ring Bearer
Ian has been my best friend for 15 years, which is roughly half of my life. Never before have I seen a dog with so much sass and side-eye, and I wonder where he got it from. He sighs when I wake up too early, and he pretends not to fall asleep when I stay up too late. No dog has ever captured my heart as he has. Here's to you little dude.
