This is our favorite brewery in Austin and it's where Matt originally planned to propose. Don't be scared by their exclusive sour beer menu, everything is fantastic.
Oasis Texas Brewing Company
Matt works at Oasis and the patio has an amazing view of the lake. Go for a pint and some food.
Workhorse Bar
Workhorse is our friend group's favorite bar in Austin. You can find us there every Thursday night (including the Thursday before our wedding).
Nickel City
Matt's favorite bar in Austin. Their wings are incredible and they have Coors Banquet on tap. Very close to Hotel Eleven if you choose to stay there.
Rainey Street
Rainey Street rivals 6th Street for the most popular bar street in Austin. Full of restaurants and bars housed in renovated homes it's a great place to walk around. The wedding parties' rental house is located just across I-35 from Rainey Street so we recommend staying close by for the weekend.
Zilker Park
Zilker is the home of ACL music festival and has an incredible view of the Austin skyline. There are plenty of green spaces to layout on or you can use the trail around the lake for a walk/run.
