The Reading Viaduct, also called The Rail Park, is a disused elevated rail line in the Callowhill district of Philadelphia that has been partly transformed into a rail trail. Take a lovely stroll through Sarah's old neighborhood and stop at Love City Brewing for a beer after!

Check out a lesser known piece of history! The Eastern State Penitentiary is a former American prison that was operational from 1829 until 1971. It is known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, this was the world's first true “penitentiary,” a prison designed to inspire penitence, or true regret, in the hearts of prisoners, like Al Capone!

One of our favorite Philly bars! A great, open-air beer bar with good music. Sarah used to come here to watch Packers games while she was in grad school. Go pack go!
The largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. The mosaics are made up of everything from kitchen tiles to bike wheels, Latin-American art to china plates.

A mixed-use public space on the central Delaware River waterfront, which is built into the shell of a century-old municipal pier. The space includes are galleries, boutique shops, and (of course) a bar along the river
