Car Hire

Answer

There are lots of car hire companies and lots of options available at the airport. Please prepare yourself for a long wait due to a ticket system at the airport. Make sure you get a ticket! If you are travelling in a pair, it might be sensible to get one person to run ahead and grab a ticket so that you do not end up at the back of the queue. Ensure the named driver on the insurance has a credit card with their name on. You will not be able to hire a car without a credit card.

How To Get There?

Port de Soller is 30 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport. The wedding villa is a 5 minute drive from Port de Soller or a 30 minute walk. The full address is Cas Hereu, Calle Poligono 3, 521, 07108, Port de Soller, Illes Balears, Spain.

We will be arranging transport to and from the venue for you from Port de Soller. There will be no parking available on the site so please either use our booked minibuses or arrange a taxi.

Dress Code

Think smart casual, garden party. Open collar, short sleeves, chinos/smart shorts and cool linen suits! Wear sundresses, floral prints, and fascinators!

Heels/No Heels?

Answer

Entirely up to you however the dance floor is cobbled stone and we do not want any injuries. The majority of the afternoon will be spent outdoors on the patio, so block heels or wedges if you want to be safe! If you are wearing heels please do bring flats, flip-flops or be prepared to go without shoes for the dancing.

Weather/Temperature

Bring suntan lotion! Early September in Majorca averages about 27C so can be very hot. The evenings can be cooler so you may wish to bring a light jacket or pashmina for later on. Equally, September can be wet (we are praying it isn't going to be) so we will have a plan B option for the ceremony and dinner.
