Download the BudapestGO app: The BudapestGO app lets you plan routes, check schedules, and buy digital tickets—including the 15-day Budapest-pass, which gives you unlimited travel on nearly all public transport within city limits (metro, trams, buses, suburban rail). Just scan your phone at metro gates or bus entrances and show the animated pass if asked. Note: The pass isn’t valid on the 100E airport bus, and you’ll need a photo ID to use it. Here’s how: download the app, choose your country and data package, once you’re in the country it will activate! Is Public Transport Reliable in Budapest?

Are Ubers, Taxis, AirBnb, or VRBO common in Budapest?

Yes! All are common and great options for your travel. Just make sure the taxis are marked (unmarked cars are red flags for scams)!

What should I wear?

Welcome party attire: Dressy Casual A step above everyday casual. Think dresses, stylish tops, skirts, or dress pants. Button-downs or polos for men. Wedding ceremony and reception attire: Formal Formal for Her- Tea length or long formal dresses in floral prints, pastels, or vibrant colors are encouraged. Heels or wedges are great options. Keep in mind that streets near the venue are paved with cobblestones or uneven surfaces; stairs are required to reach our venue. Formal For Him- Suit or Blazer & Trousers are perfect options for formal attire. A tux is not required. Dress shoes please!

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The cocktail hour, ceremony, and dinner will take place outside on a balcony, overlooking the Pest side of Budapest. Following dinner, we will move inside for music and dancing.
