Join us at Spiler in Gozsdu Courtyard to kick off the weekend! The basement of the restaurant has been reserved for us. Goszdu courtyard is a quaint alley on the Buda side of the city including restaurants, bars, and other entertainment. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Stop in before you explore this side of the city!

Join us for light bites and drinks on the terrace of Spoon The Boat - a fixed boat restaurant located on the Danube River. The boat will not be moving so please feel free to come and go as you please. The Spoon is located across the Pest bridge (approx. 15 min walk, 8 min taxi ride, or 8 min by public transport). We will meet in the lobby to walk as a group at 6:30pm. Public transport directions - Walk 2 mins to the Halasz Utca bus stop take bus 990 -> Schechenyi Istavn Ter, walk approx. 3 mins Walking directions - Make a right out of the hotel, walk towards and across the bridge, make another right and walk approx. 5 minutes. The boat will be docked on your right with a yellow covering over the terrace. Attire: Dressy Casual A step above everyday casual. Think dresses, stylish tops, skirts, or dress pants. Button-downs or polos for men.

Group Gathering

We’ll be spending the afternoon in City Park—feel free to stop by and join us! City Park is located next to Heroes’ Square, one of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks, and is full of things to see and do. You can paddle boat on the lake, take a ride in the tethered hot air balloon for panoramic city views, visit the Museum of Fine Arts or the Hall of Art nearby, and stroll over to Vajdahunyad Castle with its picturesque courtyard. You can also relax at a café or grab a bite from the food huts and kiosks scattered around the park, or simply wander the tree-lined paths, gardens, and open lawns that are perfect for a casual hangout. Our exact meeting spot within City Park will be shared with you closer to the wedding date. Travel: Hop-on/Hop-off bus, public transport, uber or taxi.

Hungarian Independence Day Fireworks - details TBD

7:00 pm

Park Plaza Budapest has a great view of the fireworks. Grab a bite or drink from the hotel lobby and join us outside of the hotel to watch the show. We will arrive early to snag a spot!
