Daikaya is our most-frequented date night spot! Come for the best ramen in DC, stay for the 90s hip-hop music. Pro-tip: they only take walk-ins and are super busy on most nights, so put your name in and then go have a drink at the upstairs bar while you wait!
The Salt Line
We spend more time at this bar than any others, it's a neighborhood favorite and where we've celebrated many milestones--including our engagement!
Biker Barre
Take a barre or spin exercise class at the studio where Kirsten teaches!
Watergate Hotel Rooftop
For the best rooftop view with the most scandalous history, head over to the Watergate Hotel. From the "Top of the Gate" you can enjoy an amazing cocktail and see DC sparkle at night.
Capitol Lounge
RIP **This bar closed due to COVID19, but we couldn't bear to delete it so it exists here in memoriam** A dive bar on Capitol Hill where we've spent more nights than we'd like to admit. Its motto is "No politics and no Miller Lite"--it's the perfect place to have a Bud, leave the politics of DC behind, and watch a game. Lucas used to walk Kirsten home from Cap Lounge every Thursday. She thought he was being a gentleman, later found out he just wanted the 7-Eleven taquitos down the block from Kirsten's building.
