Kip and Melissa met in 2012 when they were living in the same dorm building freshman year at UC Santa Cruz. They were friends for 3 years before they went on their first date in 2015, hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This was the start of many adventures together, and a shared love for both the ocean and redwoods. In 2019 they ended up buying their first house together in Felton and adopted their dog Tule in 2020. In July 2022, Kip proposed to Melissa in Oahu, Hawaii after hiking to the top of a mountain overlooking the ocean. Here are some snapshots of us throughout the years :)
