Question

How do I get around in The Douro Valley?

Answer

CAR: Cars are the easiest mode of transportation in the Douro Valley - we suggest renting a car from Porto (or Lisbon) to get around most efficiently. Note taxis are limited in the Douro Valley but we will provide phone numbers of taxi companies at a later date. RIDESHARES DO NOT EXIST IN THE DOURO VALLEY. TRAIN: There is a train that takes you from town to town, and the Pinhão stop is just steps away from our venue. When trains arrive, there are typically taxis are lined up at the train stop taxi stand.
