Midwood Smokehouse
Midwood has multiple locations throughout Charlotte and you cannot go wrong! Ryland's go-to is the Pork Platter with french fries and mac & cheese. Kindrah's go-to is the Midwood Chopped salad with Brisket.
Brewers at 4001 Yancey
Yancey has been a staple in Kindrah and Ryland's routine since they moved to Charlotte. There's a high probability you'd see them playing Mexican Trains with McCain and Caroline for hours.
Optimist Hall
Can't decide where to go to eat? Optimist Hall is a great spot to cater to everyone's food cravings. With multiple food stalls everyone will be happy.
Camp North End
Great spot to walk around, shop local and enjoy food stalls.
Due Amici Pizza
**BEST PIZZA IN CHARLOTTE** Ryland found this spot shortly after arriving in Charlotte and he drives 35 minutes just to enjoy the sweet taste of Due Amici.
Little Mama’s Italian
There are now TWO Little Mama's locations and you can't go wrong with either. This is one of Kindrah's favorite places to grab dinner with her sister, Kourtenee.
D.D. PECKERS WING SHACK
One of the first times Kindrah came to visit Ryland in Charlotte, he took her here for lunch. She thought for sure it was going to be awful. It's 100% a hole in the wall, but has the best wings in Charlotte.

Ballantyne's Backyard
Ballantyne's Backyard is where Ryland and Kindrah frequently go on long walks on the weekends. It's also where Kindrah has worked since moving to Charlotte. There are a lot of exciting developments happening here and we hope they're close to being done at the time of the wedding!
The Rail Trail
Looking to explore Charlotte's South End? The Rail Trail is a great place to start. Over a couple of miles you can see many of Charlotte's restaurants, breweries, businesses and more. You'll likely run into many cute pups along the way!
Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course
Par 9 golf course that Ryland and his best man, McCain, enjoy playing at. If the weather is nice, be sure to check it out!
Leatherman Golf Learning Center
This driving range has one of the best sunsets in Charlotte!
The Green
Kindrah refers to this park as the Book Garden. If you stop by, you'll know why :)
Charlotte Regional Farmers Market
The Charlotte Regional Farmer’s market is a great place to check out local farmers and businesses. Open Wednesday - Sunday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Whitewater Center
The Whitewater Center is Charlotte’s best spot for those who love the outdoors. There are many miles of biking, hiking and running trails. The rapids will transform to an ice skating rink mid-November for those looking for a taste of the holiday spirit!
Rosie's Coffee & Wine Garden
Rosie's is one of Kindrah's favorite places to go. Order a bottle of wine to share and meander through the gardens.
Middle James Brewing Company
Middle James is a local brewery we love to visit with friends for trivia! But Middle James' best secret is that it's attached to a driving range. If the weather is nice, pick up a pint from Middle James and bring it down to the driving range and then practice your golf swing!
The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten
Depending on when it opens, there's a good chance the OMB Christmas Market will be going on in November. Enjoy a pint while shopping local vendors for Christmas gifts.
Lenny Boy Brewing Co.
Ryland and Kindrah love Lenny Boy not just for their beers, but also for their Kombucha and to admire the greenery inside.
The Chamber by Wooden Robot - NoDa
The Chamber is run by Wooden Robot, which is a local brewery. Kindrah's favorite beer is Good Morning Vietnam and Ryland's is Overachiever.
Divine Barrel Brewing
Divine Barrel has some of the best IPAs in Charlotte!
SouthPark Mall
Our hotel block is in the SouthPark neighborhood of Charlotte. It is also the home of our favorite mall! Ladies, you can drop your partners off at Suffolk Punch while you shop till you drop.
Charlotte Premium Outlets
When we lived in the Steelecreek area of Charlotte, we would frequently visit the outlets to walk around and window shop.
Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
Located in the heart of Uptown, this is a great museum to spend an afternoon enjoying Modern Art.
NASCAR Hall of Fame
We have yet to make the trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, but while you're in the NASCAR capitol, you might as well visit, right?

Bank of America Stadium
Bank of America stadium is home to Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers. The following sports teams are in-season during the month of November: Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte Checkers, Charlotte FC & Carolina Ascent (the FIRST Women's Professional team in Charlotte)!
Carolina Renaissance Festival
We have made a tradition of visiting the Carolina Renaissance Festival every fall. The festival runs Saturdays and Sundays from October thru November. Be sure to grab a Turkey leg while there!
Carowinds Winterfest
Are you ready to kick off the holiday season and see millions of Christmas lights? Then WinterFest would be a perfect way to start celebrating! Opening day is 11/15/24 so this would be a perfect Saturday night activity if you are planning on staying in town.
