Kimya & Alex

BouquetBouquet

Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Neil Dave

Best Man

Alex and Neil met at the University of Texas at Austin their sophomore year of college in a screenwriting class. They hit it off based on their mutual love of sci-fi movies and pretend-casting their own screenplays with Hollywood actors. Neil invited Alex to play Super Smash Bros with some friends and the two created a rivalry of epic proportions. They'd later make up by getting milkshakes at Amy's Ice Cream and driving around in Alex's rickety little pickup truck that always had something wrong with it. Neil moved to Los Angeles in 2009 but despite a 1,200 mile separation, the two keep in touch and talk scripts, food, and tacos almost every single day.

Katrina Kavehkar

Maid of Honor

Kimya has known Katrina since 1996, when Katrina was born. No, you're not seeing double—they are in fact sisters with a striking resemblance. Katrina, now working as a nurse in Nashville, keeps Kimya young by introducing her to new music, fashion, and slang. Kimya, in turn, shares sisterly advice and wisdom. Together, they enjoy hanging out in hip coffee shops, singing loudly at concerts, giggling at nothing while driving around, and just being silly in general. Kimya is honored to have her favorite person by her side on this special day.

Jessica Bonet

Bridesmaid

Kimya met Jess at Emerson College in 2008 when they were assigned to be suitemates in their freshman year. They've lived together, laughed together, grown together, cried together, and even done this wedding thing together (Kimya was Jess's maid of honor). Even though they're separated by hundreds of miles, they still make time to see each other regularly and FaceTime whenever possible. Kimya loves visiting Jess and her husband, Rob, in New York, to run around the city acting like they're 18 again.
