Old Sacramento was where we had our first official date! It's a fun place for families, couples, and kids to explore. Be sure to stop by Stage Nine, our favorite entertainment store.
When we travel to any city, we always try to visit art museums. If you have the time, please check out the Crocker Art Museum! We went there for our 7-year anniversary and had a lovely time. Keep in mind though, the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Ryujin Ramen House holds a very special place for us. When we were getting to know each other as friends, this was the place we usually went to for ramen. While you may think that there are other better ramen places elsewhere, this one will always have the best Ajitama egg (in Kimmy's humble opinion).
We absolutely love this place for rice plates! If you do decide to give this place a try, keep in mind that cash is the preferred form of payment here.
We are obsessed with sushi! One of our favorite places to get all-you-can-eat sushi is Raku's. It is located in West Sacramento.
After grabbing a bite to eat on the weekends, we usually try to make a stop at Matcha Cafe Maiko. This is our favorite place to grab a matcha latte!
Are you looking for a sweet treat? Gunther's is recognized as a historical landmark of Sacramento that serves over 40 flavors of ice cream. Amazing! Vinh's favorite is the orange sherbet, and Kimmy's favorite is the green tea ice cream.
