We met in our last year of college at Virginia Tech 7 years ago.

We took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado in the summer of 2021. We have fallen in love with Colorado's beauty and the outdoor adventures it has to offer. On one of our many weekend trips to the mountains we hiked Uncompahgre Peak, the tallest mountain in the San Juan range. It was the most challenging, long, an tiring hikes up to that point but well worth the journey and views. At the top Jonathan proposed and I said yes! He chose to propose here because we love the mountains and so that my mom would have a great view from Heaven. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! Our wedding will be at a high altitude (11,000 ft). Although some people will not feel the effects of the altitude change, many will. Here are a few tips to keep you feeling your best during your stay. - Drink a LOT of water. Yes more than you think you need - If you notice you are getting a headache drink more water and keep Advil/Tylenol handy - Try to avoid alcohol and caffeine when possible - Be careful when drinking alcohol, as it will likely effect you much quicker than at sea level -Take it easy on your first day - If you are hiking take it slow - If you need anything at all please reach out to us
