Welcome Night!

7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

If you're coming into town on Friday, stop by Shorts Brewing Company, one of our favorite Michigan breweries. We'll be hanging out and will be so very excited to see you and share a beer before the big day! Bonus! If you are staying at Shanty Creek, there is a free shuttle to and from Shorts to the resort on Friday night. So you can have a few beers without any worries!

Kimianuptials

The ceremony will take place in the backyard of Kim's family cottage. The reception will be held across the street. Kim's grandparents bought this cottage the year she was born and she and her family have spent almost all summers of her life visiting, swimming in Torch Lake, watching the sunsets and the stars, and in the winters skiing at Shanty Creek. Needless to say, this place holds a special place in her heart. Also, just down the hill from the cottage at "Rocky Beach" is where Ian proposed to Kim last July! Kim's Uncle Tim and Aunt Debbie, who now own the property, have graciously offered to host our wedding here. We are incredibly grateful to them for being willing to hold this event in such a special place and can't wait to celebrate with you all.

Sunday Funday

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

For those taking off on Sunday (and for those who aren't!), we are going to gather at Richardi Park in downtown Bellaire for some coffee, breakfast snacks and lots of hugs. If people plan to stay the whole long weekend, we hope to spend some time on Torch Lake and enjoy Bellaire in the afternoon on Sunday. Join us!
