This is a Gamecock football weekend. We recommend making reservations sooner rather than later. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place ($249/night) and The Aloft, ($311/night), however the Aloft is pricier. Unfortunately, because of the football game, the downtown hotels have increased their prices for the weekend. Since Oakbrook (venue) is in a more rural area we assumed our out of town guests would rather be closer to action in the city. However, there are other hotels very close by as well and we can recommend some areas of town for VRBO or AirBnB’s if you’re interested. There are a couple of options closer to the venue in Blythewood, SC as well. The choice is yours.
