Our story begins on March 8, 2020, though the spark started earlier when we met at Cassidy’s birthday in December. Jeff spent the next couple months asking when he’d see Kim again, and that chance finally came with a long walk through Denver (the first of many).
We thought we wouldn’t see each other again for a while, then the world shut down. Trips were canceled and we found ourselves spending more time together; usually more walks with Zona. Kim mentioned Arizona hadn’t left the best impression on her...Jeff thought "challenge accepted".
When the world opened back up, so did our adventures! From honey mustard, to hikes, recorder practice, wine tasting, and a lot of laughter, things quickly grew. Exploring Alaska to Spain and everywhere in between.
Over the past five years, our relationship has grown with every step, leading us to November 15, 2025. It was a perfect day for a hike, so we headed to Golden. As Jeff gave the usual play-by-play of the trail, the moment arrived...
