We closed on our first home in April 2019.

We hiked the highest peak in northeastern U.S. - Mount Washington - on a whim as our first hike ever together. In fact, on this trip, we even had to buy sneakers because we were not prepared.

We love an occasional beach trip to Ocean City, MD or Outer Banks, NC.

James quickly started to try to get Kim into Baltimore sports once she moved to MD (she still loves her Steelers).

We did, in fact, potentially win money on this trip to Rocky Gap Casino.

We started to go on annual trips with Rosie to Asheville, NC.

The goat yoga is unbeatable in Asheville, NC!

We do like pumpkins in this household.

Our first trip to Costa Mujeres, Mexico for a friends wedding. This experience helped us solidify the idea that we wanted a tropical destination wedding for ourselves.

No one can say we are not creative into adulthood when it comes to costumes.

We love spending time at the lake (and so does Rosie).

We got engaged on May 17th, 2025! It has also always been on our bucket list to stay at a hotel that has robes so this day was a win win!!

We love our social sports teams in Frederick.

"A soulmate is not found. A soulmate is recognized." We have always known we would spend our lives together, but we are so excited that now we get to make it official.

We love living in the Frederick, MD area, so we wanted to do our engagement photos in Downtown Frederick to highlight that.
