When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony will take place on Friday September 18th, 2026 at the Secrets Playa Blanca Resort in Costa Mujeres, Mexico. The cocktail hour and reception will follow the ceremony just a short walk away at the resort. We are so fortunate to get to have a destination wedding with our closest friends and family.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We'd love for you to come dressed in beach formal/cocktail attire for our wedding events. Please keep in mind the tropical weather in Mexico and outdoor venue setting.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres is an adults-only resort and our wedding is an adults-only celebration.

Is there a room block at the resort?

Answer

YES, see the travel page for a link to the room block to book directly with our wedding planner, Adeline in our room block. We reserved a block of rooms at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres at a set rate + the rate includes transportation to and from the Cancun International Airport. If you do not see specific room type that you want to book in the room block, let James/Kim know and they can see if it can be added.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest and most convenient airport to fly into is the Cancun International Airport (CUN). When booking through the room block, our wedding planner will coordinate transportation to and from the airport to the resort. Secrets Plays Blanca Costa Mujeres is about 30-45 minutes from the Cancun airport.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES, a valid passport is required. Please check the expiration date of your current passport and if you need a new one start the process sooner than later as they usually take a few months to come in.

Does the resort have a minimum length of stay?

Answer

YES, Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres has a minimum length of stay of 3 nights for our wedding block.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please check your invitation - if it includes a +1, then your guest is welcome to join our big day! Due to limited space, we are only able to invite those named on the invitation.

Is Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres an All-Inclusive Resort?

Answer

YES, Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres is an all-inclusive adult-only resort. This means that your food, drinks, and some activities will be included in the cost of your stay. There are 9 dining restaurant options, 24-hour room service, bars/entertainment.

Are you accepting cash gifts or a honeymoon fund?

Answer

YES! If you prefer to give a cash gift, we have set up a honeymoon/new couch fund on our Registry page. We are so grateful for any contribution.

Do the restaurants at the resort require reservations?

Answer

No, the majority of the restaurants at the resort do not require reservations. The only one that requires reservations is the Hibachi restaurant and this reservation can only be made the morning of.
