Please offer suggestions if there are places you would like to see on the list, and we will be adding updates as we get closer to the date.

The Wizards Chest

451 Broadway Street, Denver, CO 80203

If you came without a costume this is the spot to get a costume locally year round.

Spirit Halloween

500 16th Street Mall, Denver, CO 80202

Or if you came without a costume and want the affordability and options of a chain, Spirit Halloween does open for the season in August.

Casa Bonita

6715 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80214

A Denver institution restored to glory. Definitely worth making a reservation at if you’ve got time and transportation

Meow Wolf Denver Convergence Station

1338 1st Street, Denver, CO 80204

If you're going to hit any immersive art experience in Denver, Meow Wolf is it. There are several different Meow Wolf locations in the country, and every time is a unique experience. Definitely can be sensory overloading, so make sure to bring your headphones if you get overstimulated.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has long been a treasured museum with many enjoyable exhibits and centrally located.

Denver Botanic Gardens

16th Street Mall

16th Street Mall, Denver, CO 80265

A Denver institution with fun, food, outdoors, and indoors.

Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom & Cervantes Other Side

2637 Welton Street, Denver, CO 80205

This is a staple of African American history in the united states. When first built, the 5 points neighborhood was built around the red lines and named as such because it was where the grid system changed and there was a 5 point intersection. Over the last 20 years 5 points has been horribly gentrified, with some of the neighborhood having it's name changed to "RiNo" (River North), the closure of the national African Americian history museum, and a Juneteenth festival traditionally organized by almost all white people without any regard for the history or black residents of this community. Through all that, Cervantes still stands. All the classic jazz greats performed here, as well as it having been written about by Jack Kerouac in "On the Road."

The 1up Arcade Bar LoDo

1925 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80202

For our pinball and arcade loving friends: this one is for you!
