Temple Bar Inn
We contacted several hotels to get the best rates and options that were most convenient for flexible booking, and the Temple Bar Inn was very willing to accommodate! Right in the heart of Dublin City Centre close to many main attractions, this hotel was the best deal we could find. However, if you find that alternate accommodations would be better for your stay, we recommend staying in the Dublin 2 or Dublin 8 areas for the most central and best experience. We were able to ask the hotel to hold 8 Double Rooms for 2, 1 Triple Room for 3, and 2 Quad Rooms for 4. We ask that the the larger rooms be saved for families until we know what accommodations they may need, but we were able to put one additional Quad Room for 4 on hold if a small group wanted to room together. Please reach out us if this is something you are interested in so we can help coordinate! Dublin Heuston to Galway (Ceannt) Train
Tickets from Dublin to Galway are currently unavailable to purchase in advance until June 2026, so we recommend checking back to book your train tickets then. Once we purchase our tickets, we will share our departure time if you wish to travel with us. However, there will likely be multiple departure times, so please do what you feel is best for your plans that day! Purchasing Tickets: To purchase your train tickets, go to the Irish Rail website and navigate to the "Tickets and Fares" drop down tab. From there, you should see an option that says "Buy a Ticket." You'll want to select the "Dublin Heuston" train station as your departure location and select the "Galway (Ceannt)" station as your arrival location. There should be multiple departure times available for your convenience! Getting to the Heuston Station: The train station is about a 10 minute drive from the Temple Bar Inn where we will be staying in Dublin. We recommend taking an Uber or downloading the "FreeNow" app for taxi services. Keep in mind that traffic in the city can affect travel times, so aim to give yourself a little extra time and be ahead of schedule! Hyde Hotel
This is the hotel in Galway where we will be staying and holding our dinner reception following the wedding ceremony. We have held 8 double rooms (each for 2), 1 triple room (for 3), and 1 quad room (for 4) all with bed and breakfast included for our wedding guests. We ask that the triple and quad rooms remain reserved for families that will need the space. These rooms will be on hold until July 15th 2026, so you are able to call any time before then to reserve and pay for your room. Please note, there are many other hotel and inn options close by if you find that alternate accommodations are a better fit for your stay. If you choose to stay at the HYDE hotel, please reach out to either Hunter or Kimber to receive the reservation number prior to booking to get the discounted group rate.
