Group Day Trip 1 - Kilkenny

10:30 am - 7:00 pm

Kilkenny is well known for it's medieval architecture and preserved castles. Explore the abbeys, visit museums, and even venture into caves if you're brave enough! Once we've received a head count of who would be interested in joining us on this group trip, we will provide updated information as far as transportation details, itinerary for the day, and cost per person. Our plan is to make each excursion as budget friendly as possible, but please do not hesitate to let us know if cost would be an issue. Please keep in mind, this may be a self-guided trip as there is much to see and do in Kilkenny, and each person may have their own preferences for attractions that interest them most. While we will help with coordinating getting to the destination, what you see and do will be up to you!

Travel to Galway (Train)

11:00 am - 3:00 pm

We recommend booking a train ticket from Dublin's Heuston train station to Galway's Ceannt station on IrishRail (www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/). Please see the "Hotels" tab on our website for further instructions on how to buy your tickets! Tickets cost from 14 to 17 Euros and cannot be purchased until around June so we recommend booking them this summer. The total travel time is around 2 hours 30 minutes. The train's have bathrooms and can accommodate whatever luggage you bring with you without issue or extra charges. Large suitcases are typically stored at the front and back of the rail cars. Pro-tip: when booking, select a seat either at the very front or back, since this is where the doors are and large luggage is kept - and pick the left side of the train for the best views of the Irish countryside!

Group Day Trip 2 - Connemara National Park

10:30 am - 5:00 pm

Connemara National Park
Letterfrack, G, Ireland

Connemara offers an incredible hiking experience with scenic mountains, expanses of bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands. The park itself is more than 7,000 acres, and the area has a strong association with traditional Irish culture. Please be sure to dress comfortably in anticipation of muddy conditions and a lot of walking

Entrance to the park and visitor center is free, but please note that transportation will cost $ per person if you are interested in joining us. Once we get a head count of who would be interested in joining us, we will provide further information on the best way to travel and pricing.

Wedding Ceremony

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Cliffs of Moher
CE, Ireland

Dress however you feel your best! We recommend cocktail dress attire, but please keep in mind the terrain could be muddy and hilly, and all guests will be standing during the ceremony. Wear heels/fancy shoes at your own risk! Please also keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable and windy on the cliffside. We suggest wearing or brining a jacket that's weatherproof.

A bus will be provided transporting all wedding guests to Hag's Head where the ceremony will be held. The bus will arrive at HYDE hotel as a central meeting location and you can expect to depart at 12:00pm to ensure timely arrival. The plan is to be married on the cliffside, but an alternate restored cottage will be available as a back up option should weather interfere with our outdoor ceremony. Guests are welcome to explore the Cliffs following the event as the bride and groom take photos. The bus is scheduled to depart back to the HYDE hotel at 3:00pm while the bride and groom finish their pictures.

Pre Dinner Drinks

4:45 pm - 5:30 pm

While the bride and groom finish taking pictures, all wedding guests will return to the hotel for complementary pre dinner drinks. Please let us know your drink preferences when you RSVP.

Celebratory Dinner

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Dinner will be provided and held at the HYDE hotel where we will be staying in Galway. While there's not an official "reception" following dinner for this wedding, we welcome all guests to join us for an evening on the town to celebrate at local pubs in the area! Please let us know your meal preferences as well as any allergies when you RSVP.

Departure from Galway

10:00 am - 10:00 am

Dublin
Ireland

Thank you for joining us and making our week long celebration so special!

We recommend using the same train service recommended as Wednesday to return to Dublin (Heuston station) if you need to fly out from there (www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/). We also recommend selecting the add-on at check out for the "SINGLE Dublin Express" for 8 Euros which will provide a coach bus transfer directly from Dublin's Heuston train station to the Dublin Airport. We will not be returning to Dublin on Saturday as we are instead flying out of a small airport (SNN) near Galway. ☘︎ ☘︎ "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back.
