This pet friendly Holiday Inn Express is in the same town as our venue, so it is a perfect choice if you are looking to stay somewhere only 5 minutes from The Gathering Barn. At this specific hotel, we have a wedding block of standard rooms with 2 beds in each room. The rooms in our wedding block are kept available from now until September 11th for guests of the Dwyer/Wittstock wedding to make their own reservations for. After clicking "have a group code?", you can enter our 3 letter wedding block code: DWW Rooms that are not reserved within the wedding block prior to SEPTEMBER 11TH will be released into the hotels general inventory, resulting in no guarantee that the hotel will have anymore rooms available beyond that specified date. If all rooms in our wedding block become booked by our guests/the block fills up, you can still get the discounted block rate on other available qualifying rooms if you call the hotel directly at (920)-563-3600 and tell the front desk agent what block you are with. Individuals will pay for their own discounted guest room they will be staying in and incidentals. This hotel does not do wedding blocks, so there is no code to use when you are booking, but it is still a great option for where to stay the night considering it is also only 5 minutes from The Gathering Barn. It is directly next to the Holiday Inn Express hotel, so we have arranged the shuttle to pick up guests from Country Inn to transport to the venue while simultaneously transporting guests who stay at the Holiday Inn Express. October 11, 2024 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

A shuttle free for guests is scheduled to pick up from both hotels: The Holiday Inn Express in Fort Atkinson, WI, and the Country Inn & Suites in Fort Atkinson, WI. The first time block that the shuttle will be running is a 2.5 hour window starting at 1:30 pm, and ending at 4:00 pm. Since our ceremony is not until 4:30 pm, we understand that guests may wish to arrive closer to when our ceremony will take place, thus skipping the exploration & festivities you are welcome to take part in starting at 1:30 pm, and that is more than okay! You are not expected to arrive at the venue at exactly 1:30!! The shuttle will not be able to transport every guest in one single trip anyway, so it will be going back and forth throughout that specified 2.5 hour time window. Although, please understand Ben's Soft Pretzel's food truck will only be serving pretzels from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, so if you are hoping to get yourself a sweet or savory soft pretzel at the start of our wedding, be sure to hop on the shuttle before it's last trip to the venue to ensure you can score a pretzel from the Ben's Soft Pretzels food truck before they pack up & head out.

Last call for drinks from the bar will be at 10 pm, and our official wedding day end time is 10:30 pm. Guests who do not want to stay that late can be taken back to the hotel starting at 8:30 pm pickup from the venue, and the shuttle will continue until 11 pm for any stragglers!

*** AN UPDATE REGARDING CHECK-IN TIMES FOR BOTH HOTELS ***

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN REQUEST EARLY CHECK-IN: When you book your room, it will show on the website that check in is at 3:00 pm (at either of these two hotels). ALTHOUGH, we understand that some guests may only be reserving a room for the day of the wedding, thus 3:00 pm check in would conflict with our official start time of the wedding day, as well as the time shuttles will be picking up (1:30 - 4 pm). Here is some information regarding avoiding this conflict: At Holiday Inn Express, there is a note that the hotel manager made on our wedding block that they will accommodate early check in at 1:00 pm, but to ensure there is no issue, they ask that you please call and mention your room reservation & being associated with the Dwyer/Wittstock wedding. This will allow them the heads up to prepare for 1:00 check in of your room. At Country Inn & Suites, a heads up is also necessary if you need them to accommodate early check-in. You will need to specifically request a check-in time of 1:00 pm when you make your reservation for Country Inn, and once you do this, you should be all set to plan for being present for the shuttle & getting to the venue at the time soft pretzels will be served & time for exploring the adventure farm on the wedding day.
