Official guest arrival time & rubber duck turn-in

1:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Feel free to arrive any time between 1:30 and 2. This arrival time is flexible to your personal and/or travel needs considering the ceremony is not right away, but we ask that you do not plan to arrive any later than 4 pm if you happen to need to take that last shuttle trip over from the hotel. If you are unfamiliar with jeep culture, individuals who drive a jeep from time to time receive rubber ducks on our parked jeep as a token of best wishes & love, and it is always a super cute/fun surprise to be "ducked," it is Kim's favorite thing about owning a jeep. Because of this, Kim loves ducks and has a pretty fun collection of her favorite rubber ducks that have turned up on her jeep in the past as a result of this practice. We wanted to incorporate this into our wedding day by asking that all guests bring a rubber duck as a fun "entry ticket" into the wedding venue and a symbol of love&support. Time in which guests can explore the adventure farm and all it has to offer!

1:30 pm - 4:15 pm

During this time, guests can explore all the activities mentioned on the FAQ page of our site like feeding the animals, going on the obstacle course, etc. It is a great time for guests to take photos around the venue, and also guests can participate in any of our non adventure farm related activities around the venue as well such as visiting our guest book station. Although, it is important to consider that once it gets dark, there will be adventure farm related activities that are no longer available once we lose daylight. So, if you are trying to do as much as possible, we suggest using this time to explore the outdoor adventure farm activities! There will be more time in the evening for indoor activities.

Ben's Soft Pretzel food truck serves

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

At this wedding, there won't be a cocktail hour per say, but there certainly will be pretzel hour(s)! There will be sweet and savory pretzel options available, along with a variety of dipping sauces to choose from!

Shuttle's last drop off at The Gathering Barn

4:00 pm

This is the end of the first shuttle time window. The shuttle will return towards the end of the evening when it comes time for transporting guests back to their hotel.

Open bar hours

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

There will be grab-and-go drinks for guests throughout the entire duration of the wedding from start to end, but the bar has specific hours that it will be serving drinks starting at 5pm, so feel free to grab a drink right after the ceremony ends. Last call is 10 pm

Dinner - El Pastor Mexican Restaurant taco bar and K&S S'mores bar

5:30 pm

If you need a vegetarian option for dinner, please indicate that on your RSVP via this website. The S'mores bar will be open for guest enjoyment at this time of the evening as well. Some of us like a sweet treat before dinner and that is more than okay!

Optional guest tattoos done by tattoo artist Logan Dysico

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

This is an entirely optional guest opportunity of course, but please indicate on your RSVP if getting a tattoo the day of the wedding is something you would like to do, so Logan can have an accurate estimate of how much supplies he needs to bring. The tattoo options will be a few different designs you can choose from, created by Kim and Logan. These tattoo designs will only take around 15-20 minutes max so we can accommodate as many guests as possible who would like to get a tattoo at our wedding. If you do plan on getting a tattoo, we ask that you please bring some cash to tip Logan for his time.

Reception

6:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Formal speeches are anticipated to be done around this time, but if you are still enjoying dinner past 6, the taco bar food will still be available! The reception is when guests can dance the night away, build your "minifigure" for our Lego guest book, explore our "creativity corner," create your personalized wedding favor using provided supplies that you will get to take home with you, visit the bar, mingle, sign up to get a "flash" tattoo (meaning a small, quicker pre-designed tattoo) from the design options created by Kim & Logan, use the photo booth (with props!), explore, use the giant tube/pipe slides, etc. The slides CAN be used all night, even after dark!

The Original Rainbow Cone ice cream truck serves

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Rainbow Cone will have a menu on display for guests to choose what flavor of ice cream you would like, but personally we recommend ordering 'the Original Rainbow Cone,' it's amazing!

Shuttle becomes available for guests wanting to go back to their hotel & turn-in early

8:30 pm

Please keep in mind that the shuttle will need to make multiple trips back and forth to accommodate everyone returning to their hotels. This will occur for for a 2.5 hour time window.

Late Night Snack - Brickhouse Pizza

9:00 pm

Although the wedding will end at 10:30 pm, we want to make sure our guests don't leave hungry! A variety of pizza's from Brickhouse in Fort Atkinson will be delivered to The Gathering Barn for everyone to enjoy. Please consider using this last chunk of time to make a stop at our guest book activity station so we can forever remember all the amazing individuals who attended our special day & made it to our wedding in support of our love :)

Wedding day & shuttle service end

10:30 pm - 11:00 pm

The wedding will officially be over at 10:30 pm. The shuttle service will make one final trip around 10:50 pm, the end of our evening shuttle transportation window being 11 pm. The driver does his best to ensure no guests are left behind, but beyond 11 pm the shuttle will no longer be making anymore trips. We ask that guests please be considerate of our end time and do not hang back beyond 11 pm at the latest. Us newlyweds will need to clean & pack up at this point in the night and have everything out by midnight. We have a day-of coordinator to help us with taking care of this in a specific, organized manner, so no need to stay past 10:30-11 pm, we got it covered!
