3/12/22 - Three weeks into dating, we have our first weekend away together in Solvang, CA. A weekend of drinking wine and petting alpacas was the perfect place to get to know each other better.

4/2/22 - Look how happy we were! Before we discovered that we were totally lost. In the heat, in Joshua Tree, without service or water remaining.

Post-hike ice cream bars were fantastic. Absolutely worth being lost and worried for our safety.

5/16/22 - Three months into dating, we took our first major trip together to Hawaii. Shortly after we got back, we said "I love you" for the first time!

6/25/22 - Robert passed the true test: meeting Kim's childhood best friends.

7/23/22 - Robert and Kim played for her company Moog in the Aerospace Games, an annual event where aerospace companies compete in beach sports. Turns out Robert is a really good volleyball player.

7/23/22 - Unfortunately I had to crop out the sand socks but trust me, they were stylish

9/24/22 - We decided to plan weekend trips to celebrate our birthdays. Robert's trip was to San Diego, where we ate our hearts out and explored the Gaslamp area.

10/15/22 - Spent a long weekend in Monterey for Kim's birthday, complete with the Monterey Aquarium and staying in an adorable tiny house.

10/28/22 - I'm so happy you stumbled upon this photo. Hopefully you guessed, but we dressed up as Gimli and Legolas from Lord of the Rings for Halloween. Kim made her beard by braiding her own hair.

March 2023 - We embark on a 10-day trip to Japan with Robert's friends.

7/8/2023 - About to be good LA residents and enjoy a Dodger's game #GoMariners

8/24/23 - Robert bravely spends a week with Kim's siblings + SOs on beautiful and nostalgic Blakely Island, where they spent the days swimming in the lake, crabbing, and watching planes take off.

While on Blakely, Robert kindly assisted with figuring out poses for Kat's maternity shoot. I really hope he doesn't find this hidden in here ;)

10/13/23 - Harry Potter World!

12/1/23 - Saw Mamma Mia at Pantages Theatre with our wonderful LA friends <3

12/27/23 - Kim's parents start actively selling us (aka Robert) on moving to Seattle with a scenic tour of La Conner.

2/16/24 - Celebrating two years together in Palm Springs, immersing ourselves in full relaxation mode.

2/25/24 - Moving in together :)

3/16/24 - Kim and Robert backpack part of Catalina Island with friends Alex and Laura. Such a beautiful place!

5/6/24 - Robert gets down on the dance floor with the Veldees at a family wedding

12/22/24 - Robert's family visits us in Seattle! Of course had to show them Pike Place Market.

12/23/24 - Veldee and Hart families bond together at the Woodland Park Zoo then Dick's Drive In, both Seattle classics

5/20/25 - We bought a house!

6/29/25 - Celebrating a friend's wedding on Orcas Island

10/28/25 - We did a quick hop over to Boston! Since I (Kim) went to college there and Robert had never been, we spent our time adventuring around the city and frequenting Mike's Pastries.

11/6/2025 - We adopt Sunny!
