Meet & Greet Gathering

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

With this being a weekend wedding, we expect many of you will come in town Thursday night or Friday afternoon. John’s mother, Mary Lynn Thorington, is hosting a ‘Meet & Greet’ Gathering Friday night, and would like you to join us. Come to Aunt Marguerite’s to celebrate John & Kim and peruse her wonderful artwork and that of their family. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages, while listening to a local pianist. John and his family members may reignite the old band for a few songs this night and at the wedding.

John & Kim’s Ceremony & Reception

We're getting married! Dinner, drinks, and dancing all to follow at Aunt Marguerites! We look forward to celebrating our new chapter in life with our family members and our dear friends. Please join us at 5pm to get settled in, grab a quick cocktail and get ready for a 5:30 pm wedding outside by the gazebo. Once John & Kim become Mr. & Mrs., the reception festivities will begin. There will be an outside tent, with an upscale southern buffet, libations and a band. The band has a huge music list and you can expect John and other family members to intrude on the jam session. It will be a night to remember!

Post-Wedding / Mother’s Day Brunch

For all of you who are staying for Mother’s Day, Mary Lynn & Marguerite’s cousin, Gina Polley and her husband David, will be hosting a Mother’s Day brunch at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa. Please join us one last time in Montgomery to honor our sweet Mothers and send off John & Kim!
