Originally our idea was to elope in a foreign country to make things more simple for ourselves.... but after thinking deeply about it, we wanted all of the people that have supported us, and loved us through the years, to celebrate with us in this special time. However, we're doing it a little untraditionally by spreading our marriage out between two days. We decided we still wanted the "elopement feeling" for our ceremony so a small amount of you will be invited to both our ceremony and reception days... while a large amount of you will be invited to just our reception day. This is to keep our ceremony day very intimate. No matter which events you are coming to, we want you to know we love you all the same, and hope to have a wonderful time with you celebrating.
Our story started at Towanda Memorial Hospital about 6 years ago when work lead us to first meeting each other in the ER... but we didn't start dating until about a year later, after crossing paths many times. Usually Nish would try to bring up the stock market, to try to get the conversation going, but as time went on the conversations became deeper than that (thank god). After knowing each other at a deeper level, we then knew we wanted each other in our lives. As they say, good things take time! As many of you know, we are a very untraditional couple, but we think that is one of the great things that makes our love unconditional. We have spent 5 years becoming each other's best friends. Nish proposed October 21, 2023 at the Allentown Rose Gardens with our dog Maverick by our side. We have since purchased a house in Easton, PA and are looking forward very much to becoming husband and wife.
