Surf Spots
Zippers (Costa Azul) A famous reef break just off Costa Azul Beach - powerful right-hander that peels nicely on good swells. Best for intermediate to advanced surfers; it’s also a social spot with local surf culture and contests. Old Man's (Playa Acapulquito) Classic beginner-friendly break with mellow, long rides - perfect for learning or longboarding. You can surf it right at or near Playa Acapulquito south of Costa Azul. La Roca ("The Rock") A bit more advanced than Old Man’s - fast, technical wave over a reef. Great for surfers who want to step up from the beginner breaks and are comfortable with a reef setup.
