Natasha and Kiara have been best friends since the beginning of 2016, when they first met in high school gym class at Lathrop High School in Fairbanks, Alaska. Not exactly glamorous, but somehow gym class gave Kiara one of the most important friendships of her life. They became even closer after Natasha joined the cheer team, where countless practices, games, and late-night talks turned them into family. She has been by Kiara's side through long-distance friendship, cross-country moves, college transfers, and every major life chapter in between. In 2019, she transferred to Washington State University at the same time Kyle and Kiara did, and they lived together before COVID sent her back home to Alaska, where she was born and raised. She was there for the very beginning of Kyle and Kiara—watching their relationship grow from the start and witnessing our entire love story unfold in real time. In 2024, she made the move to Spokane, and having her nearby again has been such a gift. Today, Natasha is a middle school special education teacher in Spokane, and Kiara truly couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without Natasha beside her.

Shania and Kiara met in August 2018 as randomly assigned freshman-year roommates at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, and from day one, they just clicked. Moving across the country for college was overwhelming, but Shania and her family took Kiara in and made New England feel like home. Even after Kiara transferred to WSU, their friendship never skipped a beat. They've survived long distance, countless flights across the country, and plenty of life changes while always showing up for each other. They've made it a tradition to take turns visiting—Kiara celebrated Shania's 25th birthday with her in February 2024, and Shania flew out to Spokane for Kiara's 25th birthday in August 2025. Shania currently works for the Campbell in Massachusetts, where she recently bought her first home with her boyfriend, Mike. Kiara is so lucky that a random roommate assignment turned into a lifelong best friend.
Ethan McClure

Ethan is Kyle’s older brother by five years, but more importantly, he’s been his best friend, mentor, and constant source of support his entire life. He’s been everything a brother should be and more. Kyle has always looked up to Ethan, and watching their relationship has been one of my favorite things. Ethan and his wife, Ally, have built a beautiful life together with their son, James, and a baby on the way, just outside of Seattle, where Ethan works as a firefighter. Their family means so much to us, and there was never any question that Ethan would be standing beside Kyle on our wedding day.

Kyle and Trent met at a party right after college orientation in August 2019, and they’ve been close ever since. What started as a college friendship quickly turned into one of those lifelong brotherhoods. They were roommates for a year before Kyle and Kiara moved in together, and through every season, Trent has been Kyle’s go-to friend, drinking buddy, and partner in crime. He was there from the very beginning of Kyle and Kiara, watching their relationship grow firsthand and witnessing their entire journey together from college to now. Trent now lives with his girlfriend, Elexys, and they bought their first house together and have 2 cats, in Tri-Cities where he works in construction management. Kyle is so grateful for his friendship and so happy to have him standing with him.
